"We were fine with a top-10 run last practice, but as deep as we are in points right now (35th), we wanna be able to show we're capable of winning even this late in the season," Quinn said. "I went out on that setup and it just flew."
Clint McComb led the Chase drivers at 2nd overall after coming up 2nd among the playoff group in practice #1, with three Chasers making the top-five after none were in the top-10 last session. Meanwhile, part-timers used weather to their advantage to match times with some of the full-timers, with Richard Fridge also making an appearance in the top-10.
